  1. I have been thinking about getting a tooth implant. I have been missing a back molar so sometime now. I thought I would be fine without it but it is starting to bother me eating without it. I tend to favor my left side which is hurting my jaw.

  2. I fell down a couple of days ago, and knocked out one of my front teeth. Half of it is still there, but I'm pretty sure that the doctor's going to have to pull it out and put in an implant. Should I go to my normal dentist, or should I get a periodontist to do this? http://www.mountainperio.com

  15. I never realized how important it is to keep up on your periodontist visits. Pretty much the only thing I do in term of tooth health is the dentist. I guess I'll have to set up an appointment with my periodontist sometime this month.

  18. This dental probe measures in millimeters and is used to measure pocket depths around each tooth to determine the level or progression of gum disease. In really severe cases, a consultation with our periodontist to discuss surgery to help stop, halt or minimize the damage is advised.
